• Shoot at least 15 seconds of tape on each shot.
• Each time your light changes, white balance (and black balance if you have this feature).
• Before each shot, zoom all the way in to check focus.

1. Over-the-shoulder shot over reporter's shoulder of interviewee.

2. As reporter asks 3 different questions, during questions zoom to a different framing of the interviewee.

3. Shoot a cutaway of the reporter.

4. For use as establishing shot or cutaway, shoot extreme wide shots from the front and from the back of the interview.

5. Shoot anything else relating to the interview that you could possibly use as a cutaway.
 

Note: if you don't have a person available to play the reporter, use a stick or a camera case to simulate the reporter. Then ask the questions yourself off-camera, as if the stick/case were speaking.
