Cameraperson Assignment #4: Composition/Backgrounds

On a tripod...

1. Shoot a person in wide angle or normal against a visually confusing background.
 

2. Move the camera back and use a telephoto setting to shoot the same scene with the background out of focus.
 

3. Shoot a person with distracting elements in the background, such as workers, or cars passing by.
 

4. Shoot the same scene from a low angle, eliminating the distracting elements from the frame.
 

5. Shoot a person with a distracting element in the background, such as a trash can, a sign, or an ugly building.
 

6. Shoot the same scene using the person's body to block the distraction.
